When the gym opened up again, I knew it was time to start weight training again. It was something I lacked during the closing and being away from the facility. I didn’t know Jen personally but I had heard she had a long-standing background in nutrition and fitness. Rob thought she would be a good fit for me; and he couldn’t have been more correct. I signed up for twice a week and quickly jumped to three times a week. I found that Jen is such a motivator that I couldn’t get enough. I wanted a change in my body and I wanted to learn more about nutrition to make a difference in my life. For me it wasn’t so much about weight loss as it was to gain strength back and look and feel overall fit.
I have always stayed away from a lot of core because of a bad back. I know that is the exact opposite of what I should be doing and with Jen’s knowledge of the body and her encouragement she has given me the confidence to work on exercises that not only strengthen the core for abdominals but my back. I really feel great! I was always afraid of doing something wrong. Now training with Jen she has taught me the correct form, along with technique. I now have the confidence and great results; It’s been an amazing experience working with Jen. Learning more about nutrition has been eye opening and I can see and feel the difference in my body already.
