I began my fitness journey at In Shape Fitness with a unique perspective—as a consultant to the fitness industry, I’ve seen firsthand the difference a knowledgeable personal trainer can make. That insight motivated me to walk the talk and invest in myself.

When I started, my goals were clear: lose fat, gain muscle, follow a structured program, and have accountability. Now, at 80 years old, my focus is on continuing to build muscle, improve strength, boost cardio endurance, and increase flexibility. I’m proud to say my body fat mass has gone from 24% to 19%—the lowest it’s been in decades.

My trainer, Aris, is a major part of that success. He doesn’t just train me—he educates me. With his guidance in exercise, nutrition, and recovery, I’ve made consistent progress and stayed injury-free. His knowledge and structured approach have kept me motivated and on track.

My advice to others is simple: treat personal training as an investment in yourself.
